What is ISO 45001?

ISO 45001 is the international standard that helps companies to establish a management system for Health and Safety at Work.

The objective of the Health and Safety at Work management system is to establish a framework of action for the prevention of accidents at work and the promotion of a safe and healthy environment.

At CTAIMA we are experts in Occupational Risk Prevention and we have a 100% success rate in the implementation of ISO 45001 in our client companies.

How to achieve ISO 45001 certification?

In order to achieve the certification of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, according to ISO 45001, it is essential to have identified the legal references, risk assessment, risks and opportunities to ensure that the procedures are efficient and effective.

As in all management systems, the fundamental steps for a successful implementation must start with an initial diagnosis. From here, the following stages will go through planning, documentation, implementation, revision, correction and, ultimately, certification.

At CTAIMA we have different levels of service in our consultancy to help you in your process of implementing the international standard.

A very exhaustive and parameterised procedure has allowed us to achieve a 100% success rate in the implementations we have carried out for our clients.

What are the requirements for implementing ISO 45001?

The main requirement established by ISO 45001 is a clear commitment by the management to implement an Occupational Health and Safety management system that directly affects the well-being of the workers and, sympathetically, the production and productivity of the company.

This management system must determine all the steps in the chain of command, with their responsibilities and tasks.

ISO 45001 goes further in its objectives than the simple prevention of occupational risks and lays the foundations for the promotion of health in the company, understanding health from its aspect of integral wellbeing.

Like any management system, the organisation must carry out periodic audits to evaluate the processes and to verify compliance with the regulations...

In any case, to implement the OSH Management System it is essential that the task falls to a team sufficiently trained for this purpose and to have the necessary material resources and tools available.

At CTAIMA our consultants are experts in ISO 45001 certification.
